The first Summer School on "Genome Evolution in Eukaryotes (GEE)" is over now and it’s time for us to make a sum.
We think it has been a valuable meeting at all levels, but we feel particularly happy of the scientific side: for this we want to really thank the Teachers; obviously without their excellent contributions, the School couldn’t be as such.
We also want to warmly thank all the Students, the real target of our initiative. You were an "awesome" group!
The School was a special time for us too: we met several amazing persons, made new friends and planned further developments. We really hope to see you again in Bertinoro, maybe in 2008, for a new Summer School.
